Invitation Wording

  • Please fill out this form to the best of your ability to help us set up your initial proof. Leave blank anything that does not apply. You will have the chance to correct or complete any missing information during the proofing process.
    Nothing is printed without your approval.

  • INVITATION CARD WORDING:

  • Use the actual ceremony start time. Do not use an earlier time to avoid late-comers, which only forces punctual guests to wait longer for the ceremony to begin.

  • Married parents: Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Smith or Jonathan and Jane Smith.
    Divorced parents: Ms. Jane Doe and Mr. Jonathan Smith or Jane Doe and Jonathan Smith (mother's name first).
    If you have a different parent situation, like listing grandparents in lieu of parent, deceased parent, step parent, etc. just leave a note explaining.

  • If parent's names are being listed on the invitation, disregard this selection.

  • REPLY CARD WORDING:


    Our thoughts on online RSVPs: If an accurate headcount is needed for your event, include a physical card. It can be a budget-friendly postcard, or accompanied by a return envelope if you're wanting a more formal feel. General feedback from our past clients who opted for online RSVPs has not been positive. So, in learning from the experience of others, we strongly encourage including a physical reply card for your guests to send back.

  • The address you'd like RSVP cards sent back to (typically the couple's address, but can also be parents or wedding planner....whoever will be in charge of tracking RSVPs).

  • What address would you like printed on the back of your mailing envelopes? Typically the couple's address or parent's address, if they are listed on the invitations.
